NASA petition ‘acid test’ for Supreme Court – MP-elect Chris Karan

NASA petition ‘acid test’ for Supreme Court – MP-elect Chris Karan

Ugenya MP-elect Chris Karan has termed the NASA presidential petition an “acid test” for the Supreme Court.
The ODM MP said the court should prove its impartiality by issuing a fair ruling.
“The Supreme Court is under trial. The public is watching how the seven judges are going to handle the delicate matter.”
Karan noted a similar case presented to the court in 2013 was hurriedly handled and its determination raised eye brows among the public.
He spoke to The Star on phone after NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga announced he will move to the court to challenged incumbent Uhuru Kenyatta’s victory as declared by IEBC.
The politician emphasized that only a fair determination by the court will help it restore the faith the public has lost.
Of the election, he added: “It was a formatted computer programmed exercise which was decided in a board room and which we cannot accept.”

Onyiso asked judges to uphold the doctrine of separation of power and ensure their ruling is not swayed or compromised by “powerful forces of impunity”.

Joho Celebrates Win In Dar With Sex Parties As Raila Heads To Supreme Court

Joho Celebrates Win In Dar With Sex Parties As Raila Heads To Supreme Court

Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho spent the better part of this week celebrating his victory in Dar es salaam with his political and business buddies as NASA prepared to launch a petition at the Supreme Court.
Joho, the number two in ODM after Raila had campaigned as Raila’s top most lieutenant but was conspicuously missing when the NASA leader needed him most, opting to fly to Dar for binge and sex parties.
The sultan is said to be opposed to the Supreme Court petition, as he is among the beneficiaries of the ‘computer generated’ results which NASA is challenging at the Supreme Court.
It is said that he was furious when Raila mentioned Mombasa as among counties which IEBC had manipulated.
Known to enjoy the company of young girls in high-end clubs and lounges, he is said to have been hosted by Tanzanian Bongo artist Ali Kiba, who organized the Dar night parties.
He initially posted photos from the parties on his Instagram account but deleted them as it became apparent he had goofed, going to Tanzania at a time his party is actively challenging presidential results.
Jubilee garnered massive votes in Mombasa County, raising queries as to how this was possible as Joho had all along blocked NASA from campaigning in the county, claiming it was under lock and key and that he would deliver it.

In low tones, many people in ODM see him as a traitor and a mendacious person double-dealing Raila Odinga for his own political survival.

Donald Trump could be first US President in nearly 130 years not to have a pet dog in the White House

Donald Trump could be first US President in nearly 130 years not to have a pet dog in the White House

President was set to take in a goldendoodle called Patten  - but that has fallen through
They say a dog is man’s best friend – but Donald Trump could become the first US President for nearly 130 years not to have a canine companion in the White House.
Most American Presidents have had a least one dog, and many have had several.
Most recently, the Obamas had two Portuguese water dogs named Sunny and Bo, President George W Bush had two terriers and a spaniel – as well as his long-horn cow, Ofelia – and President Clinton had a Labrador named Buddy.
It was rumoured last month that Mr Trump might adopt a Goldendoodle named Patton, who was being fostered by one of the President’s friends, Lois Pope.
But Ms Pope reportedly decided to keep Patton herself after falling for his charms – and Mr Trump is not believed to have any immediate plans to get another.
The last President not to have a dog was William McKinley, who died of gangrene a year into his second term after a failed assassination attempt.
According to the Presidential Pet Museum, the dog-less President McKinley kept several kittens, roosters and a parrot.
It is not known whether or not Mr Trump cares for dogs. Although he is known as a prolific tweeter, the only dog-related tweets his feed reveals are a series of references to people he has clashed with being “fired like a dog”, “begging like a dog” or “choking like a dog”.
He attacked journalist Chuck Todd on Twitter in 2015, saying: “I hear that sleepy eyes @chucktodd will be fired like a dog from ratings starved Meet the Press? I can’t imagine what is taking so long!”
And he said of his Republican rival Mitt Romney last year: “Mitt Romney had his chance to beat a failed President but he choked like a dog. Now he calls me racist – but I am least racist person there is.” His dog-related similes led the Daily Dot to write an article last June claiming: “Donald Trump has no idea what dogs are or what they do.”
