Deadly campus romance: Tragic stories of Kenyan university students who kill for love

The recent news that a second year student at Kabianga University had reportedly stabbed to death his campus girlfriend over a supposed love triangle left many in shock.
What was worrying was that the said student allegedly tried to take away his own life after killing his lover.
In March, a quarrel over a girlfriend between a Moi University student and another man ended tragically after the student stabbed his rival to death in Eldoret’s Mwanzo estate.
In January this year, a fourth-year female student at Mount Kenya University confessed to killing her boyfriend by stabbing him for being unfaithful.

It was at Thika Law courts, where Teresia Roselyne Mburu and her friend Mary Nyambura, both fourth year students, admitted to killing Zachariah Ndwiga, a graduate of Maseno University and a garage manager.
Ndwiga met his death in Thika’s Runda estate on Christmas night in 2014. Teresia said she killed Ndwiga out of anger after she realised he was cheating on her.
Speaking to The Nairobian, outgoing chair of Women Students Welfare Association (Woswa) Wangui Muchai, said she had handled cases of acid burns, people thrown out of their houses and even violent beatings.
According to Wangui, the cases were diverse, but all boiled down to people who probably loved each other so much, and decided to have serious relationships.
“People fall in love. I call it kukaliwa chapo. And most times they lack exit strategies so they stayed in those relationships,” said.
Counselling Psychologist Josephine Macharia said students aged between 21 and 24 tend to be more emotionally volatile, and they tend to take cases of infidelity very seriously.
“It’s an age where people start to look for serious identity and a sense of self. We are all looking for something, once you get it, it hurts to realise betrayal,” said Macharia.

The AG has warned Raila that he would be charged with treason if he swore himself in on December 12. According to Githu, NASA’s intentions of swearing in Raila Odinga were not provided for in the constitution, making it illegal.
AG Muigai has now sounded a warning to the NASA leader against his inauguration plans because he was not legally declared president by electoral body IEBC. “There is proposed to be another swearing-in of another person. I want to start by saying for the avoidance of any doubt, the constitution provides in clear terms that no person may claim or exercise state authority except as authorised by the constitution,” He said.

Woman Quits Her Job To Breastfeed Her Boyfriend Every Two Hours

Jennifer and Brad would seem to look like any other couple in the world. There is nothing noteworthy about their outward appearance and most would assume that they are just like anyone else. However, they have a very unique bond that has caused Jennifer to quit her job. The former bartender is now planning to stay at home and begin what is known as an adult breastfeeding relationship.
She has never fed a baby of her own. Since she enjoys the stimulation of her nipples during sex, Jennifer believes that she will have no problem adjusting to this style of relationship. She has been searching for a man who would be open to the idea and has finally found her perfect match with Brad. Jennifer tried to use online ads to find the right man initially.

Little did she know that one of her old boyfriends would be down to give the idea a try. Brad let her know that he was looking for a woman of specific dimensions bust wise and Jennifer took this as her opening. Once she told him what she was looking for, she could see the light bulb going off in his head. Brad was very curious and wanted to find out more.

From there, Brad embarked on his own research journey. It did not take long for the two to develop a bond that went well beyond friendship. The connection that they share is strengthened by the physical intimacy associated with breast feeding. While she does not have any milk with which to feed her boyfriend, they are able to induce milk production with dry feeding tactics.

Jennifer has taken a leave of absence from work in order to further the relationship. She consumes herbal drinks and pills that are designed to stimulate milk flow. Brad is also excited about the health benefits that her milk has to offer. He is a workout buff who prides himself on working hard to look good for the woman he cares about most.
They plan to become married one day. For now, they are in no rush at all. Jennifer and Brad have yet to tell the whole world about their relationship, but they have shared the news with a few close friends.

Mother of baby stuck with needles arrested

Ms Jacinta Ndung'e (31) carries her 10 month old baby Jane Wairimu who had 14 needles lodged in her buttocks.

Police on Monday arrested the mother of a 10-month-old baby who was admitted to Thika Level Five Hospital last month with 14 needles in her body.
Ms Jacinta Ndung’e, was arrested at the hospital, while the baby and her three siblings were taken to Macheo Children’s Home where they will stay until police conclude investigations into how the needles found their way into the baby’s buttocks.
Thika children’s officer, Ms Rebecca Kariuki, said they suspect the mother could be holding vital information that would reveal what happened.
“The mother is the only one who can give information but she is not willing to open up. We shall book the child into a protection home to allow police to conduct investigations,” said Ms Kariuki.
The officer confirmed that the child’s siblings aged 17, 12 and six had been taken from their home in Kiganjo and will also be staying at the children’s home.
VOMITING
Thika Level Five medical superintendent Joseph Wanjohi, said the baby was admitted to the hospital with diarrhoea and vomiting.
It was during her stay that the discovery of needles in her body was made.
An X-ray showed 14 sewing needles lodged in the child’s backside and an operation to remove them conducted.
However, one needle was still lodged in her body as removing it risked harming her nerves and blood vessels.
“There’s no point in removing it. It cannot harm her. We shall, however continue monitoring her from the home,” said Dr Wanjohi.
NEEDLES REMOVED
The needles removed from the baby’s body were rusty, a probable indicator they were there for some time.
Ms Ndung’e insisted that she was innocent and had been taking care of the child alone at her Kiganjo home.
“I am innocent. The child is mine, can I do that to my own child? Did I just pick on this one to hate and not either of the other siblings? It’s not fair that they want to arrest me but let them go ahead,” lamented Ms Ndung’e moments before she was arrested.
Her husband Mr Isaac Gichura said he was shocked to learn of the needles in the baby, but was against his wife’s arrest.
